Welcome to Apsis
Apsis is the sci-fi chassis — glassmorphism, animated starfield background, transmission-style messaging. The most visually elaborate of the 12 chassis. Best in dark rooms with good monitors.
What's where
- Background: animated starfield (configurable density in Settings).
- Top bar: "ROOT" identifier left, vessel/model name center, the palette button (chassis picker), History, ? Help + Disconnect right.
- Main panel: transmissions (your messages) flow upward from the composer. Each transmission has a glassmorphic shell with a faint border glow that's brighter for unread.
- Composer: typing area labeled Transmit. Send button is TRANSMIT.
- Bottom dock: floats at bottom-center — Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers and settings live under More. On a phone the dock is a tab bar across the bottom.
- History: the History button in the top bar slides your transmissions in over the main panel, with missions listed above them.

What it's good for
Apsis is for creative work where the mood matters — speculative fiction, world-building, brainstorming visual concepts, generative art prompts. The chassis itself is a vibe, and that vibe is contagious — replies feel weightier when delivered through a glass panel against a starfield. It's also genuinely beautiful to use, which is a feature not a bug. Save it for when you want to enjoy the interface.
