Welcome to Apsis

Apsis is the sci-fi chassis — glassmorphism, animated starfield background, transmission-style messaging. The most visually elaborate of the 12 chassis. Best in dark rooms with good monitors.

What's where

  • Background: animated starfield (configurable density in Settings).
  • Top bar: History and New chat are on the left. Chat controls in the header include the model picker, Nyquest / BYOK, DynaRAG, and Optimize. The right side holds account controls, the palette button (chassis picker), Help, and the circular navigation button.
  • Main panel: transmissions (your messages) flow upward from the composer. Each transmission has a glassmorphic shell with a faint border glow that's brighter for unread.
  • Composer: typing area labeled Transmit. Send button is TRANSMIT.
  • Workspace navigation: the circular button on the right of the header opens Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers, settings, and admin (if available) live under More.
  • Phones: the model stays visible in the header. Open Chat controls for BYOK, DynaRAG, and Optimize; use the circular navigation button for workspace destinations and the header Menu drawer for conversations, account controls, and the chassis picker.
  • History: the History button in the top bar slides your transmissions in over the main panel, with missions listed above them.

What it's good for

Apsis is for creative work where the mood matters — speculative fiction, world-building, brainstorming visual concepts, generative art prompts. The chassis itself is a vibe, and that vibe is contagious — replies feel weightier when delivered through a glass panel against a starfield. It's also genuinely beautiful to use, which is a feature not a bug. Save it for when you want to enjoy the interface.
