Welcome to Atlas
Atlas is the map / exploration chassis — travel-journal aesthetic, cartographic styling, organized around courses (research projects). Designed for learning, study, travel planning, and structured exploration.
What's where
- Top bar: lesson title, the palette button (chassis picker), model picker, History, ? Help, Sign out, plus a small Reset button to clear the active lesson view.
- Main panel: chat styled like journal entries with date markers, indented model replies, and inline link previews when URLs come up. Tables render as map-legend-style boxes.
- Bottom dock: floats at bottom-center — Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers and settings live under More. On a phone the dock is a tab bar across the bottom.
- History: the History button in the top bar slides your lessons in over the main panel, with courses listed above them. + New lesson starts a new one.

What it's good for
Atlas is purpose-built for learning and structured exploration: studying a new topic, planning a complex trip, working through a textbook, journaling research. The starter templates (Lecture Notes, Study Plan) help structure the system prompt for didactic-mode replies. Memory recall is biased toward the active Course, so picking up where you left off in a multi-week study arc feels natural. Less suited to one-off questions.
