NNyquest docs

Welcome to Nyquest

Nyquest is the default chassis — near-black surfaces, a teal accent, Outfit for text and DM Mono for figures. It mirrors nyquest.ai, and it's where every new account lands.

What's where

  • Top bar: History and + New chat on the left, the current view name (or an Agent Mode / Splicer chip) in the center. On the right: your balance, the palette button (chassis picker), ? Help, sign out, and your avatar.
  • Main panel: the active chat, messages flowing top to bottom over a faint teal grid that drifts slowly behind the content. The grid holds still if your OS has reduced motion turned on.
  • Composer: attach, message box, mic for voice input, send. The row above it holds the Model picker and the Nyquest / BYOK routing toggle.
  • Bottom dock: floats at bottom-center — Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers, settings and admin (if you have it) live under More. On a phone the dock is a tab bar across the bottom.
  • History: the History button in the top bar slides your chats in over the main panel, with Projects listed above them.

Nyquest is the one chassis that keeps the platform's plain words. Every other chassis renames them — see Per-Chassis Terminology.

What it's good for

Everything. Nyquest isn't tuned to a profession the way Courtroom or Quant are — it's the neutral dark chassis for everyday work, and most people never leave it. Start here, learn the platform, then switch once you know what you'd want different. Nothing you do is chassis-bound: your chats, Projects and artifacts follow you to any of the other 11 and back again.
