Welcome to Courtroom

Courtroom is the legal chassis — formal headings, courtroom-pad yellow tint, serif fonts that look like printed court papers. Designed for legal research, brief drafting, and any work where formality and structure matter.

What's where

  • Top bar: History and New chat are on the left. Chat controls in the header include the model picker, Nyquest / BYOK, DynaRAG, and Optimize. The right side holds account controls, the palette button (chassis picker), Help, and the circular navigation button.
  • Main panel: matter notes flow with formal styling — questions in serif body text, model replies indented with a faint left margin like a court-pad column. Headings render as numbered subsections.
  • Workspace navigation: the circular button on the right of the header opens Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers, settings, and admin (if available) live under More.
  • Phones: the model stays visible in the header. Open Chat controls for BYOK, DynaRAG, and Optimize; use the circular navigation button for workspace destinations and the header Menu drawer for conversations, account controls, and the chassis picker.
  • History: the History button in the top bar slides your matter notes in over the main panel, with matters listed above them. + New matter starts a new one.

What it's good for

Courtroom is the right pick for legal work: discovery review, brief outlines, contract analysis, deposition prep. The starter templates (Discovery Review, Brief Outline) are battle-tested system prompts for those exact use cases. The formal layout encourages structured, citation-aware output from the model — which is what you want when the deliverable will be filed somewhere. Less appropriate for casual brainstorming where you want a looser tone.
