Welcome to Courtroom
Courtroom is the legal chassis — formal headings, courtroom-pad yellow tint, serif fonts that look like printed court papers. Designed for legal research, brief drafting, and any work where formality and structure matter.
What's where
- Top bar: matter title (the conversation's auto-generated name), the palette button (chassis picker), model picker, History, ? Help, Sign out. The bar is bordered like a docket header.
- Main panel: matter notes flow with formal styling — questions in serif body text, model replies indented with a faint left margin like a court-pad column. Headings render as numbered subsections.
- Bottom dock: floats at bottom-center — Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers and settings live under More. On a phone the dock is a tab bar across the bottom.
- History: the History button in the top bar slides your matter notes in over the main panel, with matters listed above them. + New matter starts a new one.

What it's good for
Courtroom is the right pick for legal work: discovery review, brief outlines, contract analysis, deposition prep. The starter templates (Discovery Review, Brief Outline) are battle-tested system prompts for those exact use cases. The formal layout encourages structured, citation-aware output from the model — which is what you want when the deliverable will be filed somewhere. Less appropriate for casual brainstorming where you want a looser tone.
