Welcome to Quant

Quant is the trading-desk chassis — dense data layout, ticker bars, real-time quote indicators, charts in margins. Designed for finance, analysis, and any work where numbers matter as much as words.

What's where

  • Top ticker strip: live market quotes scrolling across the top (S&P, NASDAQ, configurable watchlist).
  • Top bar: brief title, the palette button (chassis picker), model picker, wallet balance, History, ? Help, sign out.
  • Main panel: chat with monospaced numbers, percentage badges (red/green for negative/positive), and inline mini-charts when the model returns numerical comparisons.
  • Bottom dock: floats at bottom-center — Chat, Studios, Splicer, Agents, Vault, and More. Usage, API keys, providers and settings live under More. On a phone the dock is a tab bar across the bottom.
  • History: the History button in the top bar slides your briefs in over the main panel, with mandates listed above them.

What it's good for

Quant is purpose-built for financial analysis: earnings reports, market reactions, portfolio reviews, valuation work. Pair it with Agent Mode and the quote_lookup tool — you can ask "compare AAPL vs MSFT YTD" and the agent fetches live quotes, calculates returns, and renders the comparison inline. The dense layout shows more data per screen than other chassis, which matters when you're reviewing 20 tickers.
